MANDELIC ACID: The info 101 for you and this amazing product

I love to write about products that demonstrate effectiveness for most every skin. Mandelic Serum belongs to the group of alpha hydroxy acid (AHAs) used in your skincare products. This acid actually comes from Almonds! Bet you didn't know that. Mandelic helps to exfoliate the outer most layers of your skin. Think of this as "skin renewal".

Mandelic is a powerhouse product as it does so many things. Lets discuss those right now. Mandelic acid serves not only as an amazing exfoliant, but also anti-fungal and it has powerful benefits when it comes to dark spots and those pesky areas of hyperpigmentation.

You can think of Mandelic acid as a chemical exfoliant working behind the scenes to remove dead skin cells faster than your body's natural processes, which at a given time will slow down due to aging. This exfoliant will even out skin tone and promotes a smooth texture on the skin with regular use.

Mandelic acid is one of the gentler acids as its larger molecule means it penetrates slower therefore causing less irritation compared to other AHAs.

People with a tendency towards acne skin find that Mandelic acid is a beneficial tool in unclogging pores, and prevention of blackheads, not to mention the amazing antibacterial benefits from using this product.

If you are new to using AHA's, I suggest to start slowly and build up as your skin tolerates. I suggest to follow the "How to Use" if you are using this product for the first time.
