Is there a time frame that I can expect my acne to get better, or be clear?

Acne resolution is dependent on many factors including compliance to use the products as directed, diet and lifestyle choices.  Often times dietary changes can result in much success!

What diet changes should I consider for acne resolution and improvement?

Foods such as diary, soy, peanuts and sugar should be avoided or eaten much less in order to see progress.  Progress can be significantly slow if not following this.

Can I continue to use some of my over-the-counter products as well as the products from Esthetics By Kelly?

That answer is "no" for many reasons.   Most over-the-counter products contain acne clogging ingredients which hinder success at clearing and potentially cause havoc with seeing improvement.   Esthetics By Kelly products are non-comedogenic meaning the ingredients are clean and do not clog the pores.

What about makeup should I be aware of?

Makeup can be a deal breaker in trying to improve acne, as most contain acne clogging ingredients unfortunately.  One company who addresses acne safe makeup is PRIIA.  https://www.priia.com They offer mineral based makeup free of ingredients that clog pores.

Is there any more advice on my journey to have clear skin?

Patience!    Be patient with the process.   Your acne did not start overnight, and chances are it will not clear overnight.   Take photos of your skin every two weeks to discern progress, and you will start to see meaningful progress in your skin slowly.   It is gratifying to take the photos and realize you are on the right path.

Will I ever stop breaking out and seeing acne?

Many times acne can be an inherited condition meaning your parents or family members may have had acne and this was passed down to you.  But, with the right products and mindset to stay the course, and diet change ups can offer a great deal of benefits.   As you age, your hormones will naturally become more balanced and your acne will improve, but we don't know when that will happen.
